ever since i moved into my new fancy 15th floor apartment it all started looking up. here's a few things i like about korea:

it's ok to ride a motorcycle on the sidewalk
most nights don't really get going until 2am
no one locks their bikes
the combination of soju (a buck a bottle) and noribong (karaoke)
ajumma's short haired perm, wide brimmed visor, and hiking boots.

charlie bought me a webcam and this is what i look like when i'm sick as a dog in my tiny apartment.

From the top of the hill i saw the tiniest sliver of Everist and spent a week watching my step as to not fall down the manholes. I haven't seen autumn in two years, needless to say i'm psyched, (even though i was expecting bread lines). Numerous sleepless nights have resulted in neither a grand production nor a revelation and during the hours directly preceding sunrise baking in my parent's kitchen i discovered the missing ingredient: sugar.
